This week we've welcomed Mark Dunn to #TeamCPA. Mark joins our Technical Support team as a Data Software Engineer, as part of the Graduate apprenticeship scheme.
Originally from Glasgow, Mark moved to London where he worked with global brands such as Lloyds TSB, Barclays, HSBC, Allied Irish, and Bank of America to name a few. Over a decade later and eager for a change away from the finance sector, he has decided to move into the world of Engineering software. Mark feels that working in the Engineering sector will allow him to indulge in his passion for technology and utilise his creative side. This together with working with our technical support team, will allow him to grow and develop within this sector and, perhaps develop something that he never thought possible.
Technology is only one passion for Mark, his others are travel and live music which he has been able to combine. He took a year out and travelled extensively to Europe, The Middle East, Asia, Australia, North America, and Canada. For his 30th birthday he set himself a target to see 30 live bands, however, he surpassed that target and actually ended up seeing closer to 100, one of them being The Foo Fighters at the music festival CalJam in California. When he’s not dabbling in software development or travelling, he enjoys playing the guitar.
