The Challenge

Tennent’s were facing ongoing issues with their roller shutter door after damage left it operating poorly. Instead of functioning as a reliable access point, the door had become difficult to use – often being manually wound up to move pallets in and out of the building. This not only slowed operations but also created unnecessary strain on staff and processes.

Recognising the impact on their day-to-day operational efficiency, our customer asked us to assess the problem and recommend a practical, long-term solution, ensuring that the door could once again support their operational needs safely and effectively.

The Solution

Following a comprehensive site assessment, we determined that installing a fast action door would provide the most effective and efficient solution. We removed the damaged roller shutter door and replaced it with a new fast action system, ensuring a precise fit by flashing in the remaining gaps at the top of the opening.

The fast action door allows for rapid, reliable access, significantly enhancing operational flow and reducing downtime. In addition to improved efficiency, the door’s design permits greater natural light into the area, contributing to a brighter, healthier, and more comfortable working environment.

The Result

The installation was highly successful, with the new system integrating seamlessly into operations. Since being fitted, the fast action door has been operating smoothly and reliably, delivering the improved performance and ease of access the site required.
