Improving Compressor Efficiency and Serviceability
We were asked to design a solution for our customers compressor house that would allow better accessibility. Due to the fumes of the process within the factory, it isn’t possible to situate the compressors inside the factory.
Our team proposed housing the entire system into a container ensuring a waterproof solution and with plenty of ventilation, correct lighting and ducting. This solution makes it easier for our engineering team to service the equipment. Our customer is delighted to say that the compressors are now running more efficiently in a clean environment.
Apprentices of the Year
We are looking forward to welcoming our apprentice class of 2024 this August.
As part of our longstanding commitment to nurturing talent, our apprenticeship programme has been a cornerstone of our company culture since our incorporation over three decades ago.
This year, six new apprentices will join the CPA Group family, continuing our tradition of investing in the future. Four apprentices will train to become multi-skilled engineers across our three divisions: Compressed Air, Controlled Air, and Refrigeration.
One apprentice will train with Confab Engineering to become a fabrication engineer, and one graduate apprentice will join our technical team.
3 years well spent
Speaking of the CPA Group family, our very own Emmet O’Callaghan has passed his final year and been awarded his Bsc, Science of Occupational Safety & Health. We wanted to congratulate Emmet on all his hard work and being able to further assist our clients in maintaining controlled environments, here’s a few words from Emmet on his experience:
“My journey working for CPA started in 2007 and where I started in Ireland supporting our compressed air business. As the company grew and evolved with the addition of new products, staff and departments so did I and I went from working solely in Ireland to now leading our internation business development drive globally in support of our Enershield Air Barrier Technology.
I embarked on my learning journey with the support of CPA over 3 years ago and have successfully this year, finished year 3 of my Bsc, Science of Occupational Safety & Health. My interest in the subject of occupational health was sparked by my work promoting and selling Enershield globally as part of my role as international business development coordinator for CPA Group. This work helping clients maintain controlled environments has taken me to as diverse locations as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the north of Finland and nearly everywhere in between .
To provide solutions in such challenging climatic conditions requires a deep understanding of the environment, the facility, and the people and how they all interact, and it is from analysing and thinking about these problems with the support our awesome technical support team, that led to this interest growing in the subject of occupational health and safety.”
